CAI-NJ Hires New Chapter Executive Director

MERCERVILLE, NJ — The New Jersey Chapter of Community Association Institute (CAI-NJ) is pleased to welcome Michael P. Molaro to our organization as Chapter Executive Director. Mike comes to CAI-NJ with 30 years of non-profit experience and will be responsible for implementing the chapter’s mission and goals, and the overall administration of chapter activities and operations in his new position which begins on March 17, 2014.

“As we continue to grow, it has become apparent that we need an expert to lead the Chapter and to identify new opportunities for us,” said CAI-NJ President, Marie D. Mirra, CPA. “Mike comes to us with vast relevant experience, including a broad understanding of policy governance, operations and strategic planning. The CAI-NJ Executive Committee is confident that he will be an integral part of our team to drive our Chapter to a new level.”

Mike spent the past 17 years as Director of Chapter Relations for a non-profit firm in Princeton, NJ where he was responsible for the oversight of 88 chapters. He facilitated leadership development presentations to the chapters, including other professional associations, and has structured and administered summits held in conjunction with the company’s annual conference and exposition. Previous to that, he was employed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as State Society and International Liaison.

Mike graduated magna cum laude from William Paterson College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications. He and his family reside in Lawrenceville, NJ.
