Jaclyn Olszewski, CAE
Chapter Executive Director

Jaclyn Olszewski serves as Executive Director of CAI-NJ, where she is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day operations of the chapter. Working closely with the Board of Directors, committees, volunteers, and staff, she leads initiatives that support the chapter’s mission, enhance member value, and drive continued growth and innovation.
Since joining CAI-NJ in 2015, Jaclyn has played an integral role in the chapter’s success, overseeing member engagement, educational programming, events, operations, and strategic initiatives. Her leadership has helped strengthen the chapter’s position as one of the largest and most active CAI chapters in the country.
Jaclyn earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation, the highest professional credential in association management. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and has more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit association management.
Outside of the office, Jaclyn’s most important role is being mom to her son, Benny.
Brooke Stoppiello-Nevins

Brooke Stoppiello-Nevins has been an integral part of the CAI-NJ Team since August, 2017. Although Brooke’s primary focus at the beginning was graphic design, over the years, she has learned the ins and outs of the community association industry, excelling in all areas of communications.
Brooke is the Liaison to the Editorial Committee, where she is the Editor in Chief for CAI-NJ’s monthly magazine, Community Trends®, which gives members the latest tools to address community association issues. She was also previously the Co-Liaison to the F.A.S.T. Committee, which focuses on giving back to the community through philanthropic efforts with fun, networking events to engage members.
Brooke received a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from New Jersey City University. Prior to working for CAI-NJ, she worked full-time in advertising and design for many years with several different companies. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. They like making new adventures together, traveling, spending time at the beach, going to the park or zoo and Brooke’s favorite, Disney World!
Emily Najjar

Emily Najjar is the Events Manager for the CAI-NJ chapter, where she leads the planning and execution of engaging networking events that bring together industry professionals. With over 15 years of experience spanning restaurant and events management, as well as leadership roles in membership, partnerships, and community engagement for nonprofit associations, Emily is known for creating meaningful connections and high-impact experiences.
Emily holds a Professional MBA from Rutgers University, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, as well as an Associate Degree in Culinary Science. Her diverse background gives her a unique ability to connect people and execute impactful programs. She currently lives in Neptune City, and when she’s not out exploring new restaurants or enjoying time at the beach, you can find her in her kitchen testing new hummus flavors.

Robin Surgent enjoys making the most out of her membership title with the CAI-NJ Team! Formally an Event Coordinator in 2011 with CAI-NJ, she has been fortunate to learn and grow across her decade long journey with associations to coordinate educational seminars, develop networking opportunities and most recently gain additional experience with marketing and membership, focusing on member relations and chapter involvement. Robin is excited to facilitate chapter growth, making industry connections between our member types and getting everyone involved in all the benefits CAI-NJ has to offer.
Robin graduated from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Event Planning. Robin currently resides in Hamilton with her husband, KJ and two crazy boys, Zachary and Shane. She loves being a boy-mom and all things Broadway.
Jocelyn Garlock

As the Programs & Events Manager, Jocelyn Garlock assists in the development of special events and educational experiences to make member experiences memorable. Jocelyn is looking forward to making connections within the members and assisting in the planning of unforgettable events at CAI-NJ.
Jocelyn attended Rutgers University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Political Science. She has formerly worked in the Events and Operations of the Rutgers Panhellenic Council, where she coordinated all formal and informal events for 400 prospective members. This gave her experience in creating and executing events to meet specific needs, while also maintaining a network contact list. She currently resides in Freehold, NJ, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Payton Rothman
Administrative Membership Coordinator

As the Administrative Membership Coordinator, Payton Rothman helps with membership engagement, administrative operations, and organizational initiatives. In this role, she works closely with members to ensure a seamless and positive experience, while helping to strengthen CAI-NJ’s outreach efforts.
Payton earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Rowan University with a Minor in Public Relations and brings strong organizational and communication skills to her role. She lives in Tinton Falls and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
